he Washington Government Relations Group (WGRG) is the premier organization dedicated to the enrichment of African-American government relations professionals. As a non-partisan, independent, volunteer association our members represent a diverse cross section of corporations, financial institutions, law firms, trade associations and non-profit organizations on various policy matters in the state, federal, and international arena. This organization seeks to increase dialogue between our members and key senior-level policy makers in order to help shape the development of superior and well-vetted public policy solutions. The WGRG helps foster both professional and social advancement amongst its membership through a variety of regularly scheduled educational programming and events that bring together stakeholders and key leaders from the public and private sectors. These individuals provide insight into the priorities and direction of various officials and staff of the Administration, Congress and government agencies of interest.
WGRG is a non-partisan, independent, volunteer association founded to enrich the careers and leadership abilities of African-American government relations professionals, including lobbyists, policy analysts, and Political Action Committee (PAC) Directors. Members represent corporations, financial institutions, law firms, trade associations and non-profit organizations on a broad range of policy areas in the state, federal, and international arenas. The goal of the organization is to increase the dialogue between our members and key senior-level policy makers to aid in crafting superior public policy solutions.
Additionally, the WGRG has a non-profit charitable giving arm, the WGRG Foundation, which, among other efforts, helps fund the Terri Grier Memorial Fellowship Program for African–American students in their final year of undergraduate or graduate study in political science or public/government affairs.
